At Re-imagine Robotics, we provide hands-on STEM enrichment programs for students in grades 3-12 through a multi-year, transformative robotics journey designed for all experience levels. Students explore everything from basic mechanical concepts, teamwork, and coding fundamentals to advanced robotics, engineering, CAD, fabrication, and competitive problem solving. No prior experience is required, and each program is designed to help students build technical skills, creativity, confidence, and leadership in an engaging environment. Our VEX Competition Season gives students the opportunity to experience the full world of competitive robotics, from the first sketch to the final match. No experience is required, and students can join at any time throughout the season. Students take part in every stage of the Engineering Design Process, including CAD, mechanical design, building, testing, documentation, and programming. Teams learn to code their robots for driver-controlled gameplay as well as fully autonomous routines, developing and refining programs through testing and competition. At competitions, students participate in three different ways: teamwork matches, where two teams work together to score points; solo Skills matches, where students drive their own robot to achieve the highest score possible; and autonomous matches, where the robot operates entirely from its code without driver input. Students will also present their designs and Engineering Design Process to judges, giving them experience communicating their technical work. Whether they are learning their first lines of code or clearly communicating their technical findings, students gain hands-on experience in engineering, programming, teamwork, problem-solving, and competitive robotics.
